District Announces Leadership Appointments

The Abbotsford School District is pleased to announce the following leadership appointments that took effect on January 1, 2026.

Monica Schulte has been appointed Secretary-Treasurer. Since joining the district in August 2022 as Assistant Secretary-Treasurer, Monica has brought a highly analytical and thorough approach to financial stewardship. A Chartered Professional Accountant, she is also recognized for her commitment to collaboration, relationship-building, and continuous improvement.

Pete Nuij has been appointed Deputy Superintendent. Pete joined the district in June 2025 and brings broad experience that supports district-wide initiatives and collaborative leadership, with a continued focus on advancing district priorities and supporting student success.

Adrianne Harley has been appointed Assistant Secretary-Treasurer. Adrianne has been with the district since 2012 and has held a variety of roles within the Finance Department, most recently as Senior Manager of Accounting Services. Her extensive experience and deep understanding of the district’s financial systems position her well for this role.
