Principal Shannon Kenney presented on how Dr. Thomas A. Swift Elementary School is using intergenerational programs like Chess Club, Cuddle Up and Read, and Roots of Empathy to help students grow academically and socially.
Two students from Yale Secondary will shared their experiences with the school’s Student Leadership program. They provided personal reflections on how the program has contributed to their personal development and future aspirations.
Assistant Superintendent Bruce Cunnings provided a strategic plan progress report for elementary schools in the District.
